Anna Kenna has set the new pool record with a time of 39.98 seconds foe 9-10 Backstroke.

Congratulations - to the Brookfield Breakers who won the division 10 champion title in 2010. The meets were extremely close, sometimes with a win in the last relay event required to win the meet. Division 10 had some of the most exciting swim meets we have experienced with much energy and excitement throughout.

Jordan Greenlee has set the new pool record with a time of 21.74 seconds for 8-under backstroke.

Congratulations - to the 11-12 girls free-style relay team who made it to ALL STARS! Congratulations to Paige Shervanick, Monica Labine, Alexa Conti, and Claire Kenna for your hard earned accomplishment.

Letter from Swim Team Rep - Kathy Richter

Welcome Future Breakers,

It's hard for me to believe it's almost time to get back into the pool. I'm excited about our upcoming season. For those who haven't heard, we have been moved to Division 10. It should prove to be a great Swim Season for our children.
I'm pleased that Coach Chris Schwindt will be back for one more season! He will be joined by Assistant Coaches Mary Kate Kenna and Shannon Silsby. We will miss our previous coach and this years Winter Swim Coach Alex Harrison. We hope Coach Alex can come see us compete this year!

Registration for this year will be on May 8th from 3-5 pm in the Clubhouse. The purchase of Team Suits (we have a new suit) will be done differently this year. On Thursday May 20th from 6-8 pm Aardvark will hold Brookfield Breaker night at their store. At that time you can purchase your team suit and get any other items you might need...goggles, practice suits etc...at a 15% discount. On May 29th we will hold our first practice. If you are unable to register on May 8th please join us on one of these other days to register. You will find the 2010 registration form here.

Like every pther year, it takes the assistance of all parents to make the Swim Season a success. We will have one additional Home Meet this year so we will need a lot of parent support. In particular, we are looking for a family willing to help the Kennas run our Meet Concessions. If you are willing to step up and assist them please let me know. Other Volunteer needs will be posted at registration.

You will find our summer calendar as it stands now on the Calendar page. A few things are still in the works and I will provide an updated calendar as soon as it becomes complete, but this should get you started.
